We are a milsim clan that was founded on 7/25/15 on the idea of a very highly skilled clan that was both mature in gameplay and also could have a lot of fun. We are a clan that was founded by two men, myself and Jeffery, who have spent over 1500 hours within the ArmA series alone and are highly experienced players. We have spent our time in clans that were always flawed in some aspects, included immature drama, or just weren’t organized overall and we have created this clan to spread our skills with the community. We’ve played together since 2013 and have grown to understand ArmA and it’s community and now we want to make a community of our own.

Principles of the 111th

Teamwork, Maturity, and Integrity combined with a Quality-over-Quantity mindset. We hold our members to high standards of conduct, and the group experience benefits immensely in turn. Privates and PFCs are treated with the utmost respect, as they might be leaders of the clan some day. We don’t treat you like most clans do because you’re merely the “new guy.”

Active community participation & interaction – the more you put into it, the more you get back. We aren’t in this to accumulate a roster of players who never actually play – if you join us, expect to see an active community that is regularly cleaned to remove any members who sit around and are extremely absent without leave.

Finding your favorite playstyle, and influencing it. We have sections and divisions dedicated for Armor, Aircraft, Infantry, and much much more. These divisions within the clan can be chosen by you when you join the clan and, as you rank up the enlisted ranks by learning or refining your existing basic infantry skills, you can move over into your division and do what you do best.

“No Bullshit” mentality. Bring a foul attitude into the group or otherwise behave in an undesirable way and you can expect to see yourself shown the door. The group trumps the individual, and toxic attitudes or drama are simply not tolerated.

Note, before you apply, you must read and qualify with the preset requirements:

Be of 16 years of age or older
Ability to use a microphone
Fluent (as in, very easily understandable) in English
We highly suggest that you're living in the US or Canada
Own ArmA 3 (preferably on a computer that runs it smoothly.)
Friendly, respectful, and mature.
Good sense of humor.
Eager to learn and grow as a player.
Teamwork-oriented mindset.
Honest and accountable for their actions.
Motivated and dedicated to making the group and our experiences the best they can be.
In it for the “long haul” – do not join us if you are only planning to stay a week.

The process of joining the 111th starts with you sending us an email at 111threcruiting@gmail.com , giving us a summary of who you are, your age (16 and up only, please), why you'd like to join, and how you think you can improve the group in your own way. Bear in mind that the quality of the e-mail will be your first impression on the group itself, so if you are serious and would like a shot at joining us, you’re best off taking some time and writing a formal e-mail with mature grammar and not just a “Hey, omg i love your clan's videos so I want to join, let me in.” Note, it can take 48 hours to be accepted.
